All of Dialogue Connect Matrices to help guide you towards the appropriate vendor for your business needs.

Backup & DR Matrix

Backup as a Service (BaaS) protects the data, and typically allows for recovery of a file or server back to the customer's on-prem environment. Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) protects the business, and allows for recovery of the entire IT environment (servers, storage, networking, apps, data) in the cloud.

CCaaS Matrix

Contact Center as a Service is a SaaS solution that replaces traditional brick-and-mortar call centers, allowing agents to work from any location. Additional benefits include built-in redundancy, flexibility, and scalability.

Colocation Matrix

Colocation provides a secure data center environment for IT infrastructure. Providers featured in this matrix offer power, cooling, rack space, bandwidth, and more.

Connectivity Matrix

Connectivity encompasses WAN (SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN), Internet (fiber, broadband), point-to-point, voice, and more. It includes services from both traditional telecom and regional fiber providers.

CPaaS Matrix

NEW MATRIX Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) lets developers add real-time communication features, such as voice, video, and messaging, to existing business applications using APIs (eliminating the need to build backend infrastructure and interfaces).

DaaS Matrix

NEW MATRIX Desktop as a Service (DaaS) provides virtual desktops to end users, allowing them to use any device (laptop, tablet, phone, thin client). It differs from VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) in that the provider hosts and manages the desktop virtualization platform.

DDoS Mitigation Matrix

NEW MATRIX DDoS Mitigation protects circuits, websites, and other web infrastructure from being overrun with too many requests. Many companies attempt to scrub traffic with their own appliances, which helps against small attacks, but adversaries can overwhelm the whole circuit with relative ease (costs just a couple hundred dollars). DDoS scrubbing services screen all traffic, returning only that which is desired to the client, allowing operations to continue even when under attack.

 Email & Productivity Matrix

Email & Productivity is a managed SaaS solution providing hosted email, web & desktop applications (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, etc.), file storage, and optionally voice. Popular solutions include Microsoft 365 and Google G Suite.

IaaS Matrix

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provides virtual or physical servers on demand. The servers, storage, and network hardware are located in the provider's data center and abstracted from the customer.

Managed Public Cloud Matrix: AWS

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of the top three public cloud platforms. Customers often turn to managed services providers for help configuring and maintaining their public cloud environment, from security to backup to DevOps and all things in between. Use this matrix to compare Managed Public Cloud providers.

Managed Public Cloud Matrix: Azure

Microsoft Azure is one of the top three public cloud platforms. Customers often turn to managed services providers for help configuring and maintaining their public cloud environment, from security to backup to DevOps and all things in between. Use this matrix to compare Managed Public Cloud providers.

Managed Public Cloud Matrix: GCP

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is one of the top three public cloud platforms. Customers often turn to managed services providers for help configuring and maintaining their public cloud environment, from security to backup to DevOps and all things in between. Use this matrix to compare Managed Public Cloud providers.

Managed Services Matrix

Features providers that offer standalone Managed Services - generally remote, 24x7 services for IT infrastructure. Includes proactive monitoring and alerting, patch management, engineering support, reporting and metrics, help desk for end users, and related maintenance and support. Managed Services support various IT environments, including on-premises, colocation, private cloud, and public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).

Meeting Solutions Matrix

NEW MATRIX The Meeting Solutions Matrix compares online meeting applications that enable collaboration and content sharing between internal and external end users.

Mobility Matrix

Mobility is a broad term, including cellular voice & data plans, mobile telecom expense management, mobile device management software, and mobility services (device ordering, kitting, repairs, reporting, inventory mgmt., etc.).

POTS Replacement Matrix

As carriers retire copper-based communication lines, POTS Replacement solutions maintain life and safety standards with built-in battery backup and LTE connectivity.

SASE Portfolio Matrix

NEW MATRIX SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) represents the convergence of SD-WAN and SSE, providing a single, integrated solution for network access and security. SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) is an evolutionary approach to the WAN that simplifies management, quickens turn-up, improves application performance and resiliency, and lowers costs. SSE (Secure Service Edge) includes several cloud-based network security functions to enable safe access to applications and web services.

SD-WAN Matrix: Technologies

The SD-WAN Technologies Deep-Dive provides a detailed look at the major SD-WAN platforms and their technical specifications.

Security Matrix

Security covers a broad range of services, from managed firewalls and IDPS to DDoS mitigation and SIEM. Compare industry-leading solutions with the Security Matrix.

SIP Matrix

SIP trunking is a method of delivering voice over the Internet (VoIP), replacing legacy solutions such as analog lines (POTS) and digital PRIs. SIP trunks are delivered to a PBX over dedicated circuits or existing public/private connectivity. Some providers are able to offer International SIP trunking, which allows for more reliable calls overseas.

TEM Matrix

Telecom Expense Management (TEM) involves the analysis of telecom service orders, inventory, bills and disputes, in order to reduce telecom spend. Telecom Management includes a la carte outsourced services across a business's entire telecom lifecycle, from initial orders to ongoing management to contract terms. It can include auditing, inventory creation, project management, trouble ticket management, and escalation management.

UCaaS Matrix

UCaaS is a managed PBX environment in the cloud that provides phone services to end users. It replaces on-prem PBXs as well as SIP, PRIs, and POTS lines. Use the UCaaS Matrix to compare the industry's many offerings.

UCaaS Matrix: Features

Each UCaaS provider offers different licensing tiers and different features within those tiers. This matrix standardizes these tiers and describes which features are included in each license tier for each one of our UCaaS providers.

UCaaS Matrix: Microsoft Teams

NEW VERSION Microsoft Teams is a workstream collaboration tool bundled with Microsoft/Office365 licensing. Its features include persistent individual/group instant messaging, presence, audio/web/video meetings, file sharing, and the ability to add Cloud PBX for additional costs. This matrix compares/contrasts UCaaS suppliers who offer various alternatives to Microsoft Calling Plans for enabling PSTN dialing with Teams.

Wireless Matrix

NEW MATRIX This matrix outlines provider capabilities across the following categories: wireless data/internet, wireless intra-building and campus solutions, satellite internet, IoT connectivity/devices, mobile voice, mobility services, and wireless TEM.
